An Android app for Fantasy Premier League

What FPL managers are talking about, every morning.

FPL Pulse reads the public FPL channels on YouTube and X each morning, groups what they discussed and ranks the ten biggest topics as the day’s edition. Live scores and bonus, every player and every fixture sit alongside, all linked.

Free, in testing on Google Play. Android only.

The Today tab: edition 4, published on the morning of Gameweek 8.

Four tabs

Everything on four tabs.

Each tab keeps its own place. Player, team, fixture and gameweek pages are one tap away from any of them.

Today

The edition opens on its lead story, with the rest of the ten beneath it as one ranked list. Each story shows who it is about, with current prices and availability. A strip above shows live scores on matchday, today’s results once they finish, or the deadline when it is close.

Live

Fixtures grouped by day with crests, scores and scorers, matches in play first. Top scorers with club, opponent, minutes, goals, assists and bonus. Bonus watch shows the leading candidates per match, provisional until confirmed. Changes shows what moved since you opened the app.

Players

Every player in the season in one searchable table. Filter by position, club, price band and availability. Sort by points, form, price, ownership or expected goal involvements.

Fixtures

Pick a gameweek, see its deadline, average and highest score, and every match grouped by day. Fixture pages list FPL points per player and match stats as tables.

Stories

Every story shows its working.

A story is a short summary of one topic the community raised. Under it sit the players involved, why it is trending and where it came from.

  • Who it is about

Each player in the story, with today’s price, ownership, form and points next to the change since the story was published, plus any injury note.

  • Why it is trending

Momentum is one bar with a legend and a one-sentence explanation, not a hidden table. It describes discussion, not quality: a widely discussed bad idea still ranks.

  • Where it came from

Sources are compact rows with the publisher, date and view count. They open in your browser, so you can check a claim before acting on it.

A player card from a story page: today’s values, with the change since the story was published.

How it works

Stories are written automatically from what FPL creators discussed this week.

Each morning

The service reads public FPL channels on YouTube and X, groups what they talked about, and writes a short summary of each topic. The ten topics with the most momentum become the day’s edition.

Why a story ranks where it does

Momentum combines how many channels raised a topic, how often, how recently, how much their audience engaged, and whether the topic points to an action such as a transfer or a captain pick.

What the numbers mean

Prices, ownership, form and points come from the official Fantasy Premier League game and refresh through the day. A story keeps the values from the morning it was published; the story page shows today’s values next to them so you can see what moved.

Summaries can be wrong

The summaries are generated, not edited by a person. They can misread a joke, miss a correction or be out of date by the afternoon. Every story lists its sources; check them before acting.

On your phone

Made for the phone in your hand.

  • Light and dark

Follows your system theme, with a setting to pin either.

  • Large text

Font scaling up to 200 percent, with layouts that still fit.

  • TalkBack

Every row reads as one sentence. Live changes are announced once, as final values.

  • Reduced motion

Turns off score animations and screen transitions, from the system setting or in the app.

  • Works offline

Saved editions, scores and players open without a connection, labelled as saved.

  • Phones, tablets and foldables

A Material 3 navigation bar on phones. From 600dp the same component becomes a rail.
